The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is searching for a cure of the number one genetic killer of children and young adults. A defective gene causes the body to produce an abnormally thick, sticky mucus. This abnormal mucus leads to chronic and life-threatening lung infections and impairs digestion. Nearly 30,000 children and young adults are affected in the US alone. One in 3,000 live births! One in 29 Americans is a symptomless carrier of the defective gene. Currently, there is no cure. Money buys science and science buys LIFE! The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation raises money to fund vital research towards a cure.
