Cause Description:
BARK is dedicated to the rescue of "Death Row" Dogs. The non- profit rescues hundreds of dogs from Louisiana animal shelters, and finds them forever homes in the US and Canada. The dogs that are rescued are often heart worm positive. Many shelters balk at the treatment cost of these poor pups, but BARK takes on any heart worm positive dog. The ultimate goal being to provide a second chance to neglected, abused and abandoned animals. BARK is working hard to help start a low-income spay neuter clinic in Central Louisiana.
