The Northwest Hub empowers low income Salem residents by training them in basic bike repair and reclamation techniques. With their volunteer work, they earn a bicycle and commuter accessories, which help them save time over walking, find jobs, commute to work, and get exercise and recreation. The Hub has helped over 1000 divested Salem residents to get affordable transportation since its inception in 2014.
