Anshe Emes Synagogue was founded in 1948 by Rabbi Avrohom Summers as one of the first congregations in Los Angeles' Pico-Robertson neighborhood. In 1987, the late founder's son, Rabbi Yitzchok Summers, started a new chapter in the shul's history. Today, Anshe Emes has developed into a thriving, vibrant congregation with a full array of classes, social events, and children's programs.
