Cause Description:
Forgotten Cats Inc is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to humanely reducing the homeless and unwanted cat population through TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return). We are a NO-KILL organization. We are staffed almost entirely by volunteers who travel and trap cats, provide medical support in the clinic setting, provide foster homes for adoptable cats and kittens, volunteer in our adoption centers and at our adoption events, and donate their time and effort with their computer skills, accounting services, etc. Thanks to the wonderful veterinarians who believe in our mission and work in our clinics for sums far less than they receive in private practice, tax-deductible contributions go directly to help the cats. As more and more people realize that killing stray and feral cats does not solve the problem of over population, our services are in greater demand. Our growth is a testament to the success we have in meeting our goals; however, it also illustrates how much more there is to be done. The financial help we receive from donors is critical in allowing us to continue with our work to ensure that the cats are well cared for in a managed colony or adopted into a permanent loving home.
