Cause Description:
Helping animals rescue humans! Working to save the lives of dogs in Big Spring Texas and surrounding areas. We are funded strictly by donations. All of our animals are give vaccinations 30$+, microchipped 38$, spay/neuter 130$ and many have tick fever and must be on 10 days of meds which can run 135$ per dog. Most dogs from the shelter have kennel cough which meds can run from 10$-135$. Long hair breeds often must be sedated and shaved by the vet due to severely matted hair which often causes sores and pain for the dogs, this expense also varies and is usually high depending on the injuries. Abused animals often need more serious care as one of our dogs had such severe injuries the leg had to be amputated, these costs can run in the thousands of dollars.
