Community Advancement Through Mentoring, Inc. is a non-profit organization & our mission states that we are dedicated to improving the lives of children/youth through group mentoring relationships to help every child realize his/her full potential and become productive, contributing members of society. In an effort to improve their lives & bring awareness to the many different challenges that our children face daily, an evidence based curriculum that discuss topics such as bullying, self-esteem, being respectful, hygiene & healthy eating, community involvement, expressing anger correctly and a host of other topics is used in a group setting with peers their age. In conjunction with our mentoring program, we also have another community resource named A Chosen Vessel Giving Closet. Our intent is to see that every person or family in crisis is given resources to meet their basic needs. We serve individuals and families from a variety of different backgrounds empowering them to claim a fresh start by offering gently used seasonal clothing, shoes, toiletries, books, educational toys, pampers, formula and many other items at no cost to them. These programs run solely off of donations from our community & volunteers who are dedicated in making a difference.
