Cause Description:
Mission Persian and Himalayan Cat Rescue (PHR) provides shelter, food and grooming for Persian, Himalayan and other cats rescued from scheduled euthanasia at regional humane societies and veterinary clinics. PHR also provides medical care and spaying or neutering as required. PHR places recovered cats into suitable new homes. Programs Persian and Himalayan Cat Rescue's (PHR's) programs include: 1) Rescue/placement of abandoned/abused long-haired and other cats; 2) Education of new owners in the care and grooming of long-haired and other cats; 3) Support of other low-cost, qualified regional animal rescue programs; and 4) Support of low-cost, qualified regional animal spay/neuter programs, as funding permits. Additional Comments Persian and Himalayan Cat Rescue (PHR) operates as a low-overhead, low-cost cat rescue and placement organization.
